Holden decide to have their factory in UK. To my opinion i think holden should build factory in Malaysia because in Europe it will be hard to survive because of huge conpanies such as BMW, Benz, Ferrari and etc. However in Malaysia people have low income so they can not afford to buy cars produced from BMW

Italy,UK,Malaysia and Germany wanted the Holden car company to have factory on their land. Each countries made the offer. Germany said in their land there are many skilled workers and will let the Holden company no rent for 1 year. UK said their country is well developed so it would be easy to export to Europe, have large population, no rent for 2 years and reduce taxes. Italy said they will let company have no rent for 1 year, lots of land to build factory and lot of skilled workers. Malaysia said they have cheap labour, 15 years free rent and government will take 30% of profit if the Holden make more money then the rent.

Last week we learned about car industries. I thought it would be similar with fashion industries but it was not.
Top 4 important location factors for the right sites of factories.
1) Labor force.
No components mean no cars. Because we need components to make cars. So I think Labor force is the top important location factor.
2) Location Factor
Also we need workers to make products if there are no workers who will do things which machines can not do? Who will fix the broken machines? Who will transport the products to the markets? Who will help the mangers?
3) Labor force, Site
If there is no electricity our lives will be more difficult. And in the factories machines will not work. So we should choose carefully for the site of our factories. THe sites need to produce enough electricity for machines.
4) Transport, Market
There need to be good road and rail to the markets. The mangers would not like if their transportation fee cost more than their incomes so we need to choose place where there are good roads and rail.

My geography holiday homework
From the 2 lesson about the Fashion Industry I learned lot of new things and my perspective to fashion company changed. Before the lesson about the Fashion Industry I thought the clothes that we wear were made by machines and people design it not make it. I also learned that the people in the factory are suffering financial problems which is not good.

SUPPLY AND DEMAND GAME
This game was quite exciting and fun. It made me easier to understand about supply and demand. The game was about buying diamond and create an item using diamond and sell it to the people. The price of diamond at the first was 100 USD however people soon begin to buy a lot. So the price went to 500. Because of big price nobody bought the diamond and if they do only small amount of diamond. After few mins the price went down to 50 USD because there was no customers.
People created the diamond ring 800 USD. The more people made the price went down. And it went down to 100 USD. There was no profit left. So people begin to make new items such as bracelet, necklase, watch, mobile phone, laptop, swimming suits and crowns.
Even though it was fun game it need some improvement. When one group created a new item other group decide to copy it make it cheaper price. So it was bit unfair to the group who invented it. So I think the group that copied the item should pay the royalty to the group who invented the item.

Homework
i didnt agree with the decision about nuclear energy. There are tones of ways to create electricity rather than using nuclear power. We just need to be bit more creative. Also why do government need to build nuclear station in Kyoto?? There are places in Japan where it has small amount of population such as northern side which is freezing cold. Kyoto contains huge amount of population and cultures. One little explosion could lose all Japan cultures. In conclusion, we should discover another way to produce electricity
